  6. STARTING THE GAME
  7.  
  8. BEWARE --->>> BE SURE TO ASSIGN AMIGOIDS: to the dir that all the sound and
  9.               Pictures files BEFORE starting the game.
  10.  
  11. The best way is to copy all the files in the same directory and type in a
  12. Cli "ASSIGN AMIGOIDS: DIRECTORY" without the quotes and where DIRECTORY is
  13. the complet path of where the file where copied.
  14.  
  15. Example for the first time...
  16.  
  17.    STEP 1 =    Copy the all the files to DH0:Games except REQ.LIBRARY
  18.    STEP 2 =    Copy the REQ.LIBRARY in your LIBS: directory
  19.    STEP 3 =    Type in a CLI   Assign Amigoids: DH0:Games
  20.    STEP 4 =    Start the game
  21.  
  22. For all the other time just do STEP 3 and STEP 4 ( Easy no ??? )

  24. The game may be start by Workbench or in the CLI.

  26.     CLI: Type Amigoids      to start the game
  27.          Type Amigoids -r   for REQ.LIBRARY requester to choose PIC

  29.     WB : Just click on the icon!

  31. NOTE
  32. The Pics for the Amigoids are normal IFF files, 8 colors made in DPAINT III,
  33. you can draw new one if you want.

  35. Include in the archive are :
  36.         Amigoids.shape.ami - Amiga computer look alike shapes
  37.         Amigoids.shape.B&W - Black and white style shape
  38.         Amigoids.shape.fun - for the kid ( try it with EASY and NO STARS )
  39.         Amigoids.shape.new - Vector look alike shapes
  40.         Amigoids.shape.old - Atari 2600 look alike shapes
  41.         Amigoids.shape.pic - Sinistar look alike shapes

  43. The sounds files for Amigoids are:
  44.         Amigoids.snd.ast_expl   - Asteroid explosion
  45.         Amigoids.snd.BShip      - Big Saucer
  46.         Amigoids.snd.ExtraShip  - Extra ship credit
  47.         Amigoids.snd.Fire       - Player shot
  48.         Amigoids.snd.Fire       - Player shot
  49.         Amigoids.snd.GameOver   - Game over
  50.         Amigoids.snd.LShip      - Little Saucer
  51.         Amigoids.snd.Ship_Bump  - Ship bump in two players games
  52.         Amigoids.snd.Ship_Expl  - Players ship explosion
  53.         Amigoids.snd.Trush      - Players trush

  55. The game may slow down on higher level on some Amiga without FAST RAM.
  56. To gain some speed you can take off the STARS in the background.
